Captain Brian Humm has been with the Department since 1982. He has five years prior experience with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office in Detroit Michigan. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Professional Administration from Barry University (Miami, Florida) and a Masters Degree in Public administration from Troy State University (Troy, Alabama). In addition, he is a graduate of the Ninth session of the Administrative Officers Management Program hosted by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the Florida Executive Development Seminar (Florida Police Chief’s Association).
Captain Humm is responsible for the Departments seized assets as well as coordinating the efforts of the Department’s Detectives assigned to the Multi-Agency joint task Force.
