Lieutenant Gillette has been with the department since 2001. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lee University. He is a graduate of the Florida Leadership Academy offered by the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute. He was a member of the Leadership St. Lucie Class XXVI. He has been selected to attend the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He is also the Team Commander for the Special Weapons and Tactics Team.
