  4. Fort Pierce Public Works Open House

    National Public Works Week acquaints residents with services provided by the City, including tree and landscape maintenance, maintenance of the City's vehicle fleet, street repair, recycling, solid waste and more! City staff will showcase the work that is done on a daily basis to ensure the safety and health of the community. This exciting event draws attention to the importance of public works and recognizes the men and women who provide and maintain the infrastructure services known as public works. Attendees will participate in activities and visit the compound operations: facility maintenance, fleet, solid waste, streets and drainage and parks divisions. River Walk Center and Recreation staff will also be in attendance. Three free classes will be offered during the event: · 5:30pm Recycling · 6:00pm Irrigation · 7:00pm Tree Pruning Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served from 5pm until 7pm while supplies last! There will be lots of fun for the whole family.
