The Crime Scene Investigators respond to a wide variety of crimes, which occur in Fort Pierce. They are responsible for the preservation and collection of evidence used to identify and prosecute criminals. The crime scene investigators work closely with road patrol officers and detectives in an effort to ensure that each crime is thoroughly processed. In addition, crime scene investigators work closely with the Indian River Regional Crime Lab and State Attorney's Office to facilitate the successful prosecution of criminal offenders.
