RECORDS

Aside from police officers, the Records employees are most likely to serve the citizens of Fort Pierce. Supervised by Lizzie Roundtree, Records is responsible for maintaining all reports of crimes, arrest reports and accident reports.

In addition, record clerks enter data and prepare reports for reporting crime to the State of Florida so semi-annual and annual Florida Department of Law Enforcement crime data can be produced for the City of Fort Pierce. All traffic crash reports are entered, processed and stored in this work area. Wanted information is placed and canceled and the information entered into the National Crime computer on stolen vehicles, tags, missing persons and property with serial numbers.

Additional services offered by Records include finger prints and response to requests for copies of incident, offense and traffic crash reports.
