Captain Robert Sandifer is a veteran of the force, beginning his career in Fort Pierce in 1976. He has an AA/AS degree from Indian River Community College, a Bachelor of Political Science degree from Barry University and has completed an advanced university course in Command Officer Development. Captain Sandifer is a member of Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church in Fort Pierce Florida and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
