Small Business Pathway Program


The City of Fort Pierce Small Business Pathway Program is aimed at growing the local economy by providing resources to small businesses within the City of Fort Pierce. The program will assist in achieving the 2020 Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) Action Plan Goal of "Resetting the Economic Base". The City of Fort Pierce and the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency are partnering together to provide a series of educational sessions to local area small business owners, entrepreneurs, and aspiring small business owners with information covering topics of high interest that were conveyed in the 2022 Small Business Development Survey. 

                                                                   These sessions are made possible through partnerships with the Small Business Development Center and CareerSource.

All sessions will be held virtually, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • It’s All at Your Fingertips: Small Biz Opportunities in Your Community - Tues. Oct. 3, 2023.
  • Show and Tell: Market and Promote with Ease - Tues. Oct. 10, 2023.
  • Build and Keep Your Dream Team:  - Tues. Oct. 17, 2023.
Program Requirements 
  • Applicants must be small business owners/entrepenuers that operate a business within the City of Fort Pierce or aspiring business owners whose home address is located within the City of Fort Pierce.
  • Attendees must attend all sessions to earn a certificate of completion and recognition on the City's and the Small Business Development Center's (SBDC) communication platforms.
