    Heathcote’s Fall Garden Festival’s 36th year! Come join a local tradition. We are growing lots of plants in our propagation area. In addition, there will be lots of opportunities to learn from one of the many educational and arts activities that will be occurring! Plus, we will have Adams Ranch burgers hot off the grill for you to purchase! Interested in rain barrels for your home and or garden? We will have them onsite for purchase as well as demonstrations on how to set up and install one. Not to mention all the amazing vendors that will be onsite for you to shop! New this year our scarecrow contest. It’s a weekend you won’t want to miss! Mark your calendars to attend! October 14th and 15th from 9am- 4pm. This event is open to the public and admission is free, but we ask for a suggested donation of $1 to help support our non-profit so we may continue to educate and inspire by providing a place of botanical beauty and to serve as a resource for the conservation of our environment.

  3. SKY EVENT: PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE WATCH

    Free, safe guided viewing will be conducted by the Treasure Coast Astronomical Society, Hallstrom Planetarium and IRSC’s student astronomy club. Seen as a partial eclipse on the Treasure Coast (nearly 65% of the sun’s disc obscured by the moon at maximum), the eclipse begins at approximately 11:55 a.m. and ends at 3:07 p.m. Planetarium shows are suitable for adults, families and children over the age of 10. The air temperature is maintained at 72 degrees. You may wish to bring a sweater or light jacket.
