The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will begin nighttime pile driving as part of the SR A1A North Causeway Bridge Replacement Project over the Intracoastal Waterway (ICWW). This work will take place near the Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway at SR A1A and County Road (CR) 605/Old Dixie Highway.
When:
Nightly from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday
Starting Monday, July 7, 2025, through Thursday, August 28, 2025 (weather permitting)
What to Expect:
Intermittent pile driving activity that may result in noticeable noise
Work is scheduled at night due to proximity to railroad tracks and safety considerations.
