The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) is excited to announce the winning design for the Sunrise Theatre Mural Project: a vibrant and inspiring piece by artist Brian Peterson.
After more than two weeks of public voting and over 2,000 community voices heard, Peterson’s design emerged as the clear favorite. His mural concept features a radiant sunrise bursting with color, surrounded by dancers, musicians, and performers that reflect the dynamic spirit of the performing arts.
The mural installation is set to begin in the coming weeks, with updates shared throughout the process. Residents and visitors are encouraged to follow along as this dynamic new piece of public art comes to life in the heart of Downtown Fort Pierce.
