Upcoming Closures at Fort Pierce Jetty Park

Residents and visitors are advised of temporary closures at Fort Pierce Jetty Park as crews begin staging for the Fort Pierce Beach Renourishment Project.

 

Key Details:

  • Seaway Drive / South Jetty / Jetty Park / Parking Lot / Adjacent Beaches: Portions will be closed Wednesday, March 11, through Monday, March 23, for initial construction and safety.
  • Project Scope: Manson Construction, hired by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will place approximately 400,000 cubic yards of sand along one mile of shoreline immediately south of Fort Pierce Inlet.
  • Schedule: Renourishment work will occur 24/7, including weekends and holidays, with periodic closures continuing until mid-May.

Please follow all posted signs and do not enter closed areas. These measures are in place for your safety and to protect construction efforts.
