Mayor Linda Hudson is now accepting nominations for the Mayor's Gold Hammer Awards. Community members can nominate a residence or business in Fort Pierce for a commercial, residential or new construction project.
The Mayor’s Gold Hammer Awards are presented in March and September at Coffee with the Mayor in an ongoing effort to recognize improvement projects within the City of Fort Pierce. Recipients have added value to their neighborhoods by restoring, constructing or enhancing their properties in a way that contributes to the character of their surroundings.
A well-kept home, neighborhood and business means that residents take pride in their community. With pride comes value, beauty and a great image for our city.
Deadline for entry is August 30, 2016. Nomination forms are available in the Mayor’s Office at Fort Pierce City Hall or online at http://www.cityoffortpierce.com/DocumentCenter/View/989.
